Otis Birdsong
After a stellar collegiate and professional basketball career which includes accolades such as being inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame and being named to the NBA All-Star Team 4 times, Otis Birdsong founded sports marketing company, Birdsong Sports. Otis also held roles as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Retired NBA Players Association, the past President and General Manager of the NBA D-League’s Arkansas RimRockers and was involved with President Barack Obama’s “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative.
Let’s Do it The right way…
Otis has a passion for helping underserved youth. For the past 9 years he and his business partner, Michael "Sugar" Ray Richardson, a former New Jersey Net teammate have been providing free, week-long basketball camps to underserved youth through their non-profit BallStars Youth Camp.

Otis grew up in Winter Haven, FL and attended college at the University of Houston where he attained a bachelor’s degree in education. He has been married to his wife Deborah for 30 years and they share 5 children and 9 grandchildren.
